Interior design is a multi-faceted, multi-skilled profession within a world where clients often don't know much about the process until they're in it.
TELL ME ABOUT IT
The Brief
Do not underestimate the power of a thorough briefing.
This is step one in any project and is the part where I get to find out all about your project, your vision and the outcomes for the interior design.

I then put all of the project information we discuss into a written brief so we are all (literally) on the same page. This is often referred back to during the design phases to ensure the decisions made align with the brief.

NAIL THE LAYOUT
Spatial Planning
This is where your project starts.
Through a guided briefing with you, I learn how the project space is intended to be used, how you want the space to feel and what elements need to be factored in.

From interior commercial fit outs to home renovations, I can provide a sketch plan for your interior design.
WHERE AESTHETICS MEET FUNCTION
Selections
This is where the look of your project comes together.
As part of the visual design concept, I curate material samples of finishes and fittings for your selection.

I have an extensive product knowledge and can refine the selections process to eliminate unsuitable options and ensure you are choosing from the most ideal options for your project.

THE VIBE CHECK
3D Visualisation
This is where I model the interior design concept and apply the chosen finishes in three dimensions to showcase how the space will look based on the decisions made so far.

A great tool to save your imagination doing the heavy lifting. These also come in very handy as a way to communicate the overall design to builders, trades and suppliers.
IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS
Documentation
This is where every single detail needed to communicate the design intention to the builder / tradespeople / cabinetmaker / suppliers is brought together.

I can provide:
-
The interior selections schedules, product specifications and applications.
-
Detailed drawings of interior plans & elevations, including cabinetry designs and details.
-
Furniture & styling plans/layouts and product specification.
